Nino Shamatava, Creative Director of Ushatava, described the concept of this hoodie dress as a “throw-it-on-and-go” piece. It is designed for people who are tired of having to choose. We combined two wardrobe basics into a single piece: an oversized hoodie with an elongated silhouette and an asymmetrical circle skirt. The hoodie features functional details. Thin elastics are sewn into the inner seams of the extra-long sleeves: wrap them around your wrists, and the fabric gathers into soft pleats, shortening the sleeves. The dress also has a deep kangaroo pocket and a hood. The skirt has a “ripped”, asymmetrical hem and chaotic folds. If you move the elastic waistband from the hips to the waist, it will visually shorten the skirt.
